Animal Art #3

These are from my Animal and Wildlife Drawing class from Spring 2014. They were part of a materials project I was tasked to do.

Life Drawing #2

These were from my most recent Life Drawing classes last semester (Spring 2014). Towards the end of the semester we were to use better paper and either pastels or charcoal.

Life Drawing #1

Some Life Drawing both done in Charcoal. The top were gestures, the bottom a sustained drawing.

Illustration B Preliminary

The first project of the semester for my illustration class is to make 'splatter art' portraits. This post is more for my personal backup and reference in case something happens to the original image.

Animated Film Blog

Here's a link to the blog I had for my first Production class, and some preproduction work I had done between 2013-2014. It's a film about a baby shark that loses its tooth!

Animal Art #2

This was one of my projects for Animal and Wildlife in Spring 2014, where we needed to design a re-imagined mythological creature while maintaining believable anatomy and motion the proposed creature maintained in gestural drawings.

My thought was a cat-sized exotic griffin that lived in the rainforest and hunted small prey. The legs were switched to allow optimal movement for the animal through the dense foliage of the rainforest as well as a capability of flight.

Self-Portraits Paintings

One of the homework assignments for Life Painting was that we had to do life-portraits for homework. I wasn't so much a fan of this, if only because I don't like looking at myself. This isn't because I think I look ugly or anything, I just never was fond of staring at myself and replicating that in a mirror.

I did these assignments and put a generous amount of time into them, regardless. Struggling over my issues with my own face was probably the most difficult task the course threw at me.

These are in order of creation, all made Spring 2014.

-This one was my favorite out of the four-

Life Painting #1

These paintings were done in-class Spring 2014 for my Life Painting course. They are the ones I was most satisfied with for the light or form they portray.

Still Life Paintings #1

Beginning painting with oils in Spring 2013. These aren't all of them but they're what I felt were my better works from this time period.

Old Sculptures #2

This project was from Design II at my community college, in which we needed to create a mythological creature with a specific function. Originated from Spring 2012 semester.

This creature is meant to be a representation of duality and thought. Its eyes allow it to see every thought escaping the brain, and its dual tongues catch both good and bad thoughts that it devours. The grooves in the brain are a result of its feet and tongue kneading the organ, which is where headaches come from.

Old Sculptures #1

I was very proud of this project. It was a deconstructed triangular dog made with ceramic in my Design II class. Unfortunately, this piece was inadvertently destroyed a year after it was created.
Dates: Spring 2012

Animal Art #1

These are all very old animal sketches I did on GIMP on a whim. All are from 2012-13, before I took animal and wildlife and using my limited knowledge of how to use a tablet and image program.
